UNIX, the universal passage for wooden roofs by Apros, has recently been installed in a villa with a ventilated wooden roof and wood fiber insulation (a very delicate material if put in contact with fire).
Designed for the installation of stoves and fireplaces in environments with wooden roofs, UNIX is the ideal solution for the protection of wooden roofs from possible fires. In homes with wooden roofs, in fact, the main cause of fire is due to the incorrect installation of chimneys and flue pipes, a problem that the installation of UNIX can solve thanks to a certified safety and a quick installation.
The choice has fallen for UNIX with its lower adjustable support ring.
This is due to the fact that UNIX is the only product on the market that allows safe flue pipes installation through a wooden roof only 2 cm away from inflammable material.
In fact, only a small hole is required in comparison to the hole required for a normal double-wall pipe, which in the same conditions would need a distance of more than 15 cm away from the wood.
