Founded in 1956, Robur today accounts for 220 employees and it is a leading manufacturer whose mission is to offer energy-efficient, gas-fired heating and cooling solutions capable of significantly reducing environmental impact. Robur offers one of the most advanced solution using up to 40% of renewable energy .
Robur heating systems may achieve efficiency over 157% , reducing up to 40% energy consumption and polluting emissions. The heart and driving force behind the research and development effort is the Zingonia Management Centre near Bergamo, site of Robur’s headquarters and of its manufacturing facilities.

Robur is strongly engaged in charity activities. With the support of the religous congregation "Sacra Famiglia", Robur has promoted the adoption of 300 Brasilian children (Ninos de Rua), leading to the foundation of the Charity organization ROBUR SOLIDALE ONLUS.
