Fronius International GmbH has been researching new technologies for converting electrical energy since 1945. That is more than six decades of experience, progress and constant innovation. Along with the Solar Electronics division, the company, which is headquartered in Austria, is also world-renowned for its battery charging systems and welding technology. The Solar Electronics division was started in 1992 and markets its products via a global network of sales partners. It develops and manufactures high-performance inverters for grid-connected solar power systems of all sizes. In addition, this product range is complimented by a comprehensive range of components for professional system monitoring and for data display and analysis. They are available as individual solutions or as a total package.
The first technicians have been working in Italy since the year 2005 and thanks to their work the ambitious Italian project could start. In January 2008, Fronius opened its office in Verona as a service and a support center of the solar electronics division on the Italian photovoltaic market.
From November 2009, Fronius Solarelectronic S.r.l. Energie Rinnovabili is a real independent branch, with its own sales division, administrative and marketing department.
The Italian branch pursues the program of technical training of installers, who are labeled as “Fronius Service Partner” and are qualified to the technical service on behalf of Fronius. Nowadays, there are more than 200 installers in Italy.
From January 2011, two new inverters belong to the range of the Fronius inverter collection: Fronius IG Plus 30 V and Fronius IG TL 4.6.
The Fronius IG Plus 30 V is the response of Fronius International GmbH to the demand from specific markets for a high-quality 3 kW inverter. The new power category offers the same benefits as the highly successful Fronius IG Plus product family.
The single-phase Fronius IG TL 4.6 inverter is a transformerless device that feeds power into the grid with a maximum output of 4.6 kW. The device is internationally certified.
