Cleaning products for radiant low temperature systems

These products contain biocides with dispersant agents which kill and remove bacterial forms and biomasses.

Description

Radiant low temperature systems can experience problems with bacterial colonies. These
grow and form biomasses above all at temperatures between 25 and 40°C. The problem is
not just with the growth of biomasses inside the pipes: bacteria in the water will reach the
boiler and will die at temperatures above 50°C. Once dead, they stick to the heat exchanger walls causing scaling. Foridra IDRATERM 415 or 240 + 700 are specific products that tackles this problem. They contain biocides with dispersant agents which kill and remove bacterial forms and biomasses.

IDRATERM 415

IDRATERM 415 is a specific formulation that removes biomasses and metal oxides from low temperature heating systems, including those with radiators and towel warmer. It contains both specific biocides and dispersants to eliminate bacterial deposits as well as metal oxides. The product does not substantially modify pH and, if used following the instructions, does not have any corrosive effect on metals and plastic materials.

Usage: Add 5 kilos of IDRATERM 415 for every 100 litres of water in the circuit. It must circulate inside the system for at least two hours (if using an external pump, like IDRAFLOW), or at least two days (if using the boiler’s pump). Within a month however, the system should be well drained and rinsed. Rinsing should continue until clear water runs out. The system should then be refilled with water treated with IDRATERM P140 to protect it against corrosion and to reduce energy consumption. After every application, check the effectiveness of the cleaning with the TEST CULT.

Package: 5 and 27 kilos cans.

IDRATERM 700

IDRATERM 700 is a specific formulation that removes biomasses and bacterial colonies from low temperature heating and/or air conditioning systems, including those with radiators and towel warmer. It contains both specific biocides and dispersants to eliminate bacterial deposits and colonies. It is recommended to clean mixed systems with radiators and radiant panels in low temperature heating systems, because it could circulate inside the system together with IDRATERM 240 or IDRATERM 280 to remove at the same time both biomasses and metal oxides in the system.

Usage: The product must always be used in addition to IDRATERM 240 or 280 to clean high and low temperature mixed systems, with a concentration varying from 0,5 to 1%, depending on the quantity of dirt inside the system. It could also be added to IDRATERM P100 as an antibacterial protection, with a 0,5% concentration in high and low temperature mixed systems, or if necessary as supplementary substance in treatments with IDRATERM P140-500-530-545.
The product must never be mixed in a pure state with other products, but always poured into the system only with IDRATERM products. After every application, check the effectiveness of the cleaning with the TEST CULT. It has a neutral pH and does not contain oxidizing agents nor chlorine derivatives.

Package: 1 kilo bottles, 5 and 27 kilos cans.
