Description
The BIO ECO TECH project consist in research and development of new materials and application technologies that can create an innovative and ecological floor (and wall) heating system using only ecological raw materials or recycled materials.
The ECO BIO TECH insulation board consists in two boards made by wood fiber with different densities, coming from trees cut in managed forests. The two boards are sticked together with a natural glue derived from potatoes’ starch.
Thanks to the double layer of different density (kg/m3 170/260), the ECO BIO TECH board offers high acoustic characteristics. The wood fiber, due to its properties of elastic connection, acts as a spring by reducing the sound energy and nullifying the effect of acoustic bridges.
The production process of the insulation board does not damage the environment and waste products are fully recyclable.
Thanks to its reduced thermal inertia and its installation method, ECO BIO TECH is easier to adjust than a traditional floor heating systems.
The DOUBLE CIRCUIT installation method, a prerogative of our floor heating systems, ensures uniformity of heating of the entire surface and modulation of the power plant through electronic control.
The ECO BIO TECH insulation board has a thickness of 40 mm. Considering 55 mm for the concrete thickness, the minimum thickness that can be obtained using ECO BIO TECH board is 95 mm (without coating).
