LCX

The main feature of the new LCX design is its extremely wide range: the 16 models that comprise it can be built as chiller, free cooling, or heat pump versions, in 3 different acoustic configurations, and cover a range of powers from 55 to 360 kW.

The possibility of setting up different cooling circuits in units of the same power means being able to personalize efficiency levels under full or part load conditions.

- 1 circuit, 2 compressors The solution of using two compressors in a single cooling circuit increases efficiency under part load conditions, reaching ESEER/ SEER and SCOP values greater than 4.

- 2 circuits, 4 compressors 4 compressors enable the unit to output power in 4 steps and adapt perfectly to the actual thermal load of the system, while reducing starting currents.

Complete hydronic kits can be incorporated within the units without modifying their size and you have the option of choosing the water circulation pump.

All units, irrespective of type of construction, are equipped with electronic expansion valves to maximize efficiency under part load conditions.

Main components

• Structure: in galvanized steel sheet painted with polyester powders for outdoor environments. The compressor compartment is completely closed and accessible on 3 sides thanks to easily removable panels to simplify all maintenance and control operations as much as possible
• Scroll compressors: scroll compressors are today the best solution for reliability and containment of the sound power emitted. The compressors are complete with motor protection against overheating, overcurrents and against excessive temperatures of the discharge gases.
• Heat exchange coil: in copper tube and generously sized aluminum fins. The particular design criterion makes it possible to speed up the blocking phases as much as possible in the heat pump versions with obvious benefits in terms of integrated efficiency over the entire cycle.
• Microprocessor electronic control: completely manages the unit. The electronic control automatically adjusts the set point according to the outside temperature to reduce consumption and widen the working range. With the advanced microprocessor control it is possible to create LAN networks for the parallel control of up to 4 units
• Fan unit: axial type fans with airfoil blades in plastic/aluminum material connected to an external rotor electric motor. The condensing pressure control continuously adjusts the speed of the fans. Electric fans with BLDC motor are available on request.
• Cooling circuit: can be made in 2 different executions on the same power size.
