OCTOPUS System is complete of Heating pump (THRON) to supply Hot Domestic Water and warm or cold water to the terminal unit Octopus, granting both CLIMA and ventilation to the house.
OCTOPUS System is complete of Heating pump (THRON) to supply Hot Domestic Water and warm or cold water to the terminal unit Octopus, granting both CLIMA and ventilation to the house. The unit Octopus is a VMC air-conditioner, with integrated heat recovery of high efficiency (up to 90%). It provides therefore an excellent quality of air in the environment by freeing them from the air spoiled, by bad odors and radon. The aspiration of kitchens and bathrooms remaining separate from that of the other rooms. All this without throwing the stored thermal energy outside.
The stored technical water does not mix with the water system used for domestic use; it only produces a heat exchange. This ensures that the water used in the domestic circuit does not come from the storage tank and eliminates the risk of Legionella.
Legionella are bacteria that can be formed in installations containing water at warm temperatures, between 20.C and 50.C, and that develop optimally between 35.C and the 45ÅãC, but do not survive above 60.C.

Ventilation, heat-recovery and filtering unit

Domestic hot water at will
- Up to 40 l/min.
Up to 21 l /m quick ACS/HDW production at 40 .C with accumulation at 55.C (operating only with Heat Pump)
Up to 40 l / m of ACS/HDW rapid production at 40.C with accumulation at 65.C (operation with integration and / or replacement of the heat pump with the auxiliary electric heater)
- Less waste
In optimal operation for the heat pump, by storing hot water in the tank for ACS/HDW at 41°C, it is possible to get hot water at the temperature of 40°C with only 1°C temperature difference. This avoids waste of energy due to water mixing at different temperatures with water supply from the system.
- 3 showers consecutively
The integrated large accumulator capacity in the internal unit of Thron allows the use of hot water up to 3 consecutive showers with no problem.
Its 190-liter capacity can meet all family needs.
- The Anti-Legionella System
The big technical tank for ACS/HDW (1) allows to store water at high temperature; this makes it possible that the tapped water for domestic use will warm instantly thanks to the exchanger (2) integrated in heat pump.
