Prodigy

Prodigy iROW modules are the optimal answer to the requirements of modern Data Centres.

Available as a single cooling module, easily fitted to all kinds of open and closed racks, Prodigy is the best solution to design new Data Centre or to expand existing facilities.
Prodigy is also available already installed in racks 42U/300mm.

Prodigy has a modular structure that can be easily integrated into racks cabinets layout; this characteristic allows to quickly and easily increase the size of the server rooms as the computing power increases. Following the upgrades of Data Centre, air-conditioning units can be added without altering the existing structure.

 Free Cooling, EC Fans and a proportionally controlled CW valve are the keys to higher performance and efficiency of the air conditionig system, reducing TCO.

These three factors contribute to achieve an important goal: minimizing the energy absorbed by supoprt equipment  (like air conditionersi) and maximizing the one used for the servers operation.

PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) is the ratio of the total power consumed by a Data Centre to the power consumed by the IT equipment that populate the facility.  
The goal of a fully efficient Data Center is to reach a PUE value equal to 1, that is when the power is entirely used by IT equipment .

PUE = Total Facility Power/ IT Equipment Power

Presence of Prodigy units in a Data Centre provides a strong contribution in PUE improvement.
