The third ANAM, AIISA - NADCA Annual Meeting
The third ANAM ( AIISA NADCA Annual Meeting) was held in Bari, Italy on 15/18th of February 2011 and it really was a success: more than 170 partecipants!!!
The Convention included the eleventh session of Italian ASCS examinations, the members only AIISA Meeting and a Scientific Session open to the HVAC systems cleaning and sanification world.
The Scientific session was tuned to the Convention Main Theme ( Technical Inspection: a peculiar aspect of a quality job) and included all the themes related to the relevant professional activities.
All speakers represent the most qualified professionals involved with the Italian IAQ Scientific world, with the National Institutes committed to the safety of work sites, and with the duct cleaning business and industry world:
• Mr. S. Massera, expert of relation between proper HVAC maintenance and IAQ problems for INAIL ( the Italian Insurance Institute for Accidents in the worksites).
• Mr. G. Ziragachi ( President of AIISA), Mr.A.Casa, Mr. V.Vargiu (all belonging to AIISA Board of Directors ) who shared their top experience of management during the jobsites activities
• Mr. Luigi Turrio-Baldassarri, IAQ manager of ISS (Italian Health Main Institute)
• Mr. Lodovico Oldrini, Engineering and Installation Consultant
• Mr. Michele Paradiso, Expert in Hospital Engineering
• Mr. Marco D’Ambrosio, Technical Manager with Cillichemie srl and Legionella expert
• Mr. Giovanni Campi, Filter Division Manager with SagICofim
Beside the Meeting AIISA housed a Trade Exposition open to the Cleaning Industry .
During ANAM, AIISA has hosted several National Associations that usually share the same scientific interests.
AIISA Members attended to seminars dedicated to ASCS Continuing Education Program. Up to now the Italian ASCS are around 80 .
Even the number of AIISA members is drastically increasing : 70 including Regular, Affiliate, Supporter and Honorary Members.
This is due to the strong professional relationship among AIISA and the most important Associations and Public Institutes in Italy and with the Sponsorship of Italian Health Ministry and Puglia Region President.
In AIISA 2011 program the following activities, among the others, are included:
• Organization of local seminars throughout Italy in order to help AIISA members’ image and professionalism in front of their business counterparts.
• Continuing the program dedicated to the promotion of HVAC system maintenance and cleaning themes addressed to the safety inspectors.
• Increasing the number of AIISA Regional Technical Seminars.
• Increment of communication strategy addressed to specific market sectors and use the new website
